Meet Jeanne "Stewart"

No my mom is not Martha Stewart but she may as well change her name from Jeanne Lesniewicz to Jeanne Stewart. Check out these baby winter hats and mittens that she hand makes! She recycles wool sweaters, boils the wool, and mix matches all the sweater types choosing just the perfect color palette of fabric swatches and sews them into these adorable hats & mittens. She makes adult sizes too. The first year she did these i snagged a baby set for myself.....just innnnnnnnn case! Vincent Gutman (Jenny's (Tomsich) son) above sported Jeanne's first line of baby hats in 2006!

Clark's 40th Wedding Anniversary!

JoAnne & Peter Clark, Justin's parents, celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary on October 13, 2007. Hadley, Justin's sister, was able to pull off an anniversary surprise party for JoAnne in Vermont (we had to inform Peter of it due to his crazy work schedule) . Let's just say JoAnne was pleasantly surprised by the 40-some guests who traveled near and far to spend the evening celebrating in Strafford, Vermont!

Jack Anthony LaRe Is Here!

Meet baby Jack. He is the new baby boy of Amy & Jeff LaRe. A little history for you here...Amy was Justin's babysitter & is still very close with the Clark family :) Jack was born on October 13, 2007 (that date may ring a bell....it was the Clark's 40th wedding anniversary as noted above!). Now this shot was picture worthy for two very important reasons: 1. baby jack is in it and 2. Justin is actually holding a baby!!! yeah, that doesn't happen much – actually HARDLY EVER. Amy and I are perhaps a little guilty for this –we co-conspired on this shot. Amy very quickly and of course very carefully dropped Jack into justin's arms and walked away giving him no choice while i stood by ready with camera in hand. SNAP! Our plan worked brilliantly as you can tell by this photo.

Jack is very lucky to have such cool parents and an even cooler sister (props to you Kailee!)

Kami & Rob welcomed little Sam into the world on September 26, 2007. This is Sam in his "Sam I Am" onesie that Emilee and I bought him.....how flipping cute is that! And let's not forget to mention his baby room has the Dr. Seuss theme - so you know my geek-butt was all about getting this onesie for him!

Britny & Cory Celebrate Their 10th Wedding Anniversary!

Britny & Cory Wade ROCK! Our dear friends from Traverse City, Michigan are the first set of friends we have who have made it to the 10-year mark in their marriage (on July 5, 2007). CONGRATULATIONS! They celebrated their milestone anniversary en route to Vermont (for our wedding) where they made the very long drive from TC via a 2-person old Porche that had no a.c. – let's just say the conversation was minimal i'm sure due to the rolled-down-window-hair-blowing-drive! WOW....TEN years together....yeah, the mandatory minimal conversation probably wasn't such a bad thing! Ha! j/k (kind of). It was the first time they did a trip just the two of them together since they had their two cute kiddies (Asa, 7 and Sterling, 2) and I'm thinking that during that one week anniverary vacation they may have actually enjoyed the sound of ONLY 65 mile an hour wind during the drive! Of course peeps, they DID miss their kids terribly too.

It's Official: Mr. & Mrs. Schwartz!

Ryan & Gia did it - they got hitched like the rest of us! They made their big move on June 30, 2007 in Sylvania, Ohio. Unfortunately, Justin and I were not able to be there because we were en route to Vermont for our upcoming wedding. Congrats to you guys!

Alex & Rachelle Get Married!

Alex & Rachelle Oliphant were married on June 9, 2007 in Lake Winnispesaukee, New Hampshire. Justin and Al are long time friends from back in their college days at Lewis & Clark in Oregon. We had the pleasure of attending and it was awesome – especially because it was the first time in the 4 years since justin and i have been together that i was able to meet the rest of his college crew. And let me tell you they come from ALL over (Colorado, New Mexico, East Coast, West Coast...)!

Meet Lola

My best friend, Emilee, and her husband Aaron welcomed their daughter, Lola, into the world on April 28, 2007. All emilee has ever wanted was a baby and let me tell you SHE IS LOVING EVERY MINUTE of it! Now here is an important note....are you paying attention......because this is for all of those who have been wondering about us Newlyweds – Emilee has saved all of her stylish maternity wear for me. Yes, it's in our big life plan, so some day, hopefully i will need those elastic stretch waist Old Navy jeans! Actually, sadly enough, i sure could use a pair now (do not have the flattest tummy on the block! I am suffering from will-you rolls on my belly...."justin, will you get me a glass of water, my love will you get my dinner out in the kitchen...you get the point now) By the way, Lola has her very own blog and it's what inspired me to do mine! Snow Bash 2007

Snow Bash 2007. Justin meets up with the rest of his college crew every year at the end of March in Vail, CO to get some super rad boarding or skiing in....oh yeah and beer drinking, poker, and whatever else it is they do (i'm not told everything i'm sure!) There has been some talk about creating a girls version of this and we will call it "Maxi Bash" – good call Rachelle!
